Workshop "Representatives for severely disabled employees, BEM advisors, inclusion officers: Who supports participation in working life and how can we do it better together?" with the participation of the Department of Work, Inclusion and Technology.

When: March 6 and 7, 2025

As part of the event "Opportunities and risks for participation in a changing world of work", Dr. Tomke Gerdes from the Department of Work, Inclusion and Technology at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Dr. Marie Heide from the University of Cologne are jointly offering a workshop. This will provide a detailed insight into the fields of activity of representatives for severely disabled employees, BEM advisors and inclusion officers. Participants are also invited to discuss current challenges in the performance of these activities and to shed light on the intersections and limits of cooperation. There will be a particular focus on the tension between the interests of employers and employees. Another focus is on exploring the potential: What opportunities do the respective roles and cooperation with other company stakeholders offer to promote participation in working life?

Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and like-minded people and receive valuable suggestions for practical implementation.
