PSEpE - Peer support and employment orientation for people with mental illness

A scientific study is being conducted at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Technical University of Dortmund as part of the study "PSEpE - Peer Support and Employment Orientation in Mental Illness". The aim is to investigate the role of peer support in the professional reintegration of people with mental illness. Background and objective: For many of those affected, mental illness poses a challenge when returning to work. Peer support, i.e. support from people with similar experiences, offers great potential to facilitate this process. The PSePE study investigates how this support works and what specific needs those affected have in order to promote sustainable employment orientation.
Who can take part?
We are looking for people who: - have temporarily interrupted their work due to mental stress or illness or were unable to carry out their work as usual, - have returned to their previous work or another professional activity after this phase, - have already had experience of informal or formal peer support.
Procedure of the sub-study:
Participation will be through an anonymous online survey that will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Data protection will be strictly adhered to and all data will be treated confidentially. Importance of participation: Your experiences are crucial to better understand peer support approaches and to use these valuable insights to develop practical measures for better occupational participation.
