ColHybri (Hybrid Collaboration)
Collaboration in hybrid teams in the scientific and trade sectors.
ColHybri: Collaboration in hybrid teams in the science and craft sectors.
Background and objective
How can collaboration in hybrid teams be designed? Which technical solutions are used if collaboration between several people on site, but also with mobile working colleagues should work, even for complex issues?
At the interface between work research (Team WIT TU Dortmund) and the transfer approach of WISTA Management GmbH, we are investigating how hybrid forms of work of tomorrow can be designed in a human-centered way.
The project pursues three objectives:
- Understanding needs and expectations for hybrid inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration.
- Identification of innovative forms of work for hybrid collaboration in the craft and science sectors
- Derivation of design recommendations for hybrid socio-technical work systems
For the concept development of hybrid collaboration in the innovation sector, several exploratory research tracks in mixed-methods research design will be conducted within ColHybri, which investigate work contexts such as ThinkTanks or StartUps with regard to requirements for hybrid socio-technical work forms. The derived findings will be translated and evaluated into concepts and design recommendations for hybrid work systems in the commercial courtyards and the Grand Challenges Center.
Application Objective:
The work results of the ColHybri project will be incorporated into the process of new construction and design of two major projects of WISTA Management GmbH and the City of Berlin at the Adlershof site:
New construction of a Grand Challenges Center for transdisciplinary cutting-edge research.
Expansion of the commercial courtyards with space for craft enterprises and start-ups
