Article by Sophie Teborg, JProf. Dr. Lena Hünefeld and Dr. Tomke S. Gerdes on working conditions of people with disabilities published in international journal

Under what conditions do people with disabilities work in the primary labor market? And what are the potentials for the inclusive design of work? The aim of a scoping review entitled "Exploring the working conditions of disabled employees: a scoping review" published in the Journal of Occupational Medicine and Toxicology was to answer these questions. The key finding of the studies included in the review is the great importance of the social environment in the workplace and the barrier-free and flexible organization of work, whereby the interaction of these potentials also plays a role. This results in starting points for future research and the inclusive design of work

The article was written as part of the cooperation project between the BAuA and TU Dortmund University "Quality of participation in working life - Recording, describing and shaping the work situation of people with disabilities", which has been running since January 2022, see also https://www.baua.de/DE/Forschung/Forschungsprojekte/f2540.html
