HFES Europe in Copenhagen

Frauke Mörike steht an einem kleinen Stehtisch mit Laptop und präsentiert in einem Seminarraum. Neben ihr hängt ein großer Bildschirm mit einer Präsentationsfolie mit dem Titel „HUMAN Factors – What do we take away?“. Auf der Folie steht unter anderem, dass nicht nur die persönliche Ebene betrachtet werden soll und dass drei Minuten Zeit zum Nachdenken über Community- und Forschungsaspekte genommen werden sollen. Außerdem sind die Punkte „Personal“, „Community“ und „Research“ aufgeführt sowie die Aufforderung, Karten zu den Postern hinzuzufügen.

From April 22-24, the annual conference of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Europe Chapter (HFES Europe) took place in Copenhagen. This year, we organized one of the two pre-conference workshops at the conference and were also represented with a poster.

Workshop: Inclusion in Human Factors Research

Together with Sandra Seidl (JKU Linz), Frauke Mörike and Jana-Sophie Effert organized a workshop that focused on the question of how inclusion and intersectional aspects can be integrated into human factors research.

In a 4-hour exchange, all participants developed initial approaches on how inclusion can be increasingly anchored at the individual level, in the HFES research community and specifically in research projects.

We also had the opportunity to present our new project KI-InnoMativ in a poster.
